VISION: To be followers of Jesus Christ committed to transforming lives in His power and for His glory by being His witnesses in “Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8b).

MISSION: To uphold the vision of the Bishop of South Carolina and the Rector of The Church of the Cross to create Biblical Anglicans for a Global Age.

GUIDING PRINCIPLE: To partner with the Diocese of South Carolina “to help shape the future of Anglicanism in the 21st century through mutually enriching missional relationships” and by insuring that all mission activities of The Church of the Cross are centered on the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Family Promise

We are a support congregation for a ministry called Family Promise. Family Promise is a network of faith-based congregations that will provide transitional housing and community resources for those who have lost their homes. Our church helps provide meals and support several times a year.
 
Food Bank Ministry

The Food Bank Ministry can be summarized as a glorious opportunity to share God's Word while sharing His food with the less fortunate. There are many opportunities for service within this ministry. Volunteer hours are Monday afternoon from 2:30-4:30 and Tuesday mornings from 8:30-11:00 on the Calhoun Street Campus. The Food Bank opens to the public at 9:30am on Tuesdays and serves guests until 11:00am.

God’s Goods operates as a Christ-centered shop to provide usable goods to the people of our community at a reasonable price, to assist people in need by pass-through goods and to provide funds to support outreach ministries of The Church of the Cross and community.

Touching Lives at Christmas

TLC is a ministry that is designed to share Christan love with those less fortunate annually in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Names of children from Bluffton and surrounding areas are collected through out Food Bank Ministry. Parishioners choose a name or names, purchase gifts, wrap and deliver them to the Church the Monday before Christmas to be distributed to those receiving the gifts for their children at Food Bank on Tuesday morning.
 
What Are Little Girls Made Of?

A ministry that serves girls in grades 1-3 in both a summer camp and after school program through Bible study, academic tutoring and fellowship. The ministry is based at St. John's mission in East Charleston, SC.
