The Connections Class and Newcomers Dinner are two of the most important ways to plug into The Church of the Cross.
Connections Class is a three-part program to help us learn how God has gifted each of us uniquely with passions, talents, and spiritual gifts. The first part is a pre-class packet that takes approximately three hours to complete. The second part is a three and one half hour workshop. Following the class you will be scheduled for a one-on-one session with a trained and experienced coach to help you confirm your calling and talents and determine your next steps. Contact Barbara Scott, firstname.lastname@example.org or the parish office, 757-2661, for information about Connections.
If you are a visitor or a new member and would like to know more about our church, you are invited to an intimate dinner at the home of Chuck and Becky Owens, our Rector and his wife. During this time you will get to know more about what we believe and become more familiar with the unique vision God has given this parish. There will also be ample opportunity for you to ask questions and take part in discussion on topics of interest to you. We even offer childcare if you let us know in advance. Contact the parish office, 757-2661 to learn more about the Newcomers' Dinner and to sign up.
